MLC Christies Charity Fundraiser at the Moss Inn - 19th January 2007
This was a great start to the year and a very well attended fundraiser. A big
thankyou to all those who supported the event and well done for raising
£1177 to be donated to Christies Against Cancer.Some people once again
travelled great distances just to be there - Fleetwood, Sunderland and
Cambridge to name but a few - MLC feel very honoured. Another MLC
landmark as Simon Kelly became MLC’s first support act. It would be more
correct to say he opened the show for us. Thanks Simon (he’s previously
guested for MLC on bass)! A few pickies of the night below courtesy of
Kev Day and Jenny Allen. In line with Emma Hermann’ wishes proceed were
donated to the Derek Crowther unit at Christie’.

Manchester Sidecar Clubs Annual Bash, Blackpool - 23rd February 2007
This rainy night in February saw MLC on the road and playing the Gables
Hotel in Blackpool. The night raised £150 for Holidays With Help and over
the weekend a total of £280.00 was raised for this very worthwhile cause.
Well done Barbara and the Manchester Sidecar Club. We’ve actually caught
Phil smiling on one of the photos, not that he doesn’t enjoy it but he’s often
pictured in deep concentration.

Catholic Childrens Rescue Society - Alma Lodge Hotel, Stockport - 20th April 2007
MLC spent the evening of Friday 20th of April providing the entertainment
at a Dinner Dance organised by Maria and Tony Sivori for the Catholic
Childrens Rescue Society. One hundred and seventy five guests raised
over £2300 for the charity. Pictures of the evening below.

Oldham RLFC - Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham - 18th May 2007
This was nearly the gig that got away but MLC finally took the stage at
about 11:40 and delivered a very well received set. On the night £450
was raised this was donated to the Andy Walker benefit fund . MLC knew
exactly what to do with all the space on our largest stage to date - spread out!

MLC War Chest - Middleton Archer - May 2007
Another 1st - A pub gig. MLC thinking of changing our name to ‘Band In A
Box’ after this gig when once again MLC compacted to the space available.
Monies from this gig have gone into the MLC war chest for a rainy day.
