How can a couple of guitars and a set of drums in a back garden make a difference??? I'll tell you - These guys were fantastic and gave me and my 50th party something to remember.... The whole night was buzzing and they made the party... Thank you to each and every one of you - you were fantastic - Jan

hi there-came across your site just now and was blown away, moved to tears!and laughter,too-what a life, never running out of surprises;will certainly keep you in mind for our charity events, although in our case we would also be looking for similar that delivers repertoire of Motown,Reggae,Ska-is there any about? my midlife CRYsis is long gone,I was still bringing up a teenage boy when I was full-tilt Crys'ing-boy oh boy,a lethal combination:menopausal mother/raging-hormones teenager! but he is 21 now, tells me I am the best-I am 59 and learning to ride the waves of-well,I'm one of the SILVER SURFERS! Any old girls out there doing this MLC band thing?why should the old boys have all the fun-or is it as it always was:bands(boys) have their 'groupies'(girls)-these days it's any gender combination...well,let

I never knew there were so many bands with this name MLC. We formed this band and got together to practice. I ask the drummer what the heck we are going to call this band. He said from the looks of us I would say Mid-Life Crisis. He said it for a joke but it stuck. We did a few jobs as MLC. Now we don't want to change our name because of taking a chance that no one we know who we are. LOL. Thank for putting us on your web site.

Great web site, fellow MLCers. We are your Michigan, USA brothers (and one sister). What a great international club we all belong to. We have been pretty lucky with gigs here in Michigan and have opened up as the warm-up band for Blood, Sweat and Tears, America, Three Dog Night, Dave Mason, Edgar Winter, Freekbass, The Tubes and are scheduled to open up for Marshall Tucker Band this summer. If you are ever in Grand Rapids, come hang with us. Steve MLC - The Band! Michigan USA Chapter. www.mlcband.com

Hi guys, Just thought I would let you know of another MLC based in Dublin, Ireland. We came together about three years ago over a very drunken dinner party. Some of us had never even played an instrument before that night, let alone played "live". Some might say we still can't play our instruments!! We've done 4 gigs so far, having only gone "on tour" last September, and raised about 1,000 Euro for charity in the process. We're currently a six/seven piece outfit as follows:Frank McCooey - Lead Guitar Paul Fanthom - Rhythm Guitar Jim McNally - Vocals Anne Fanthom - Vocals Leonard Nealon - Bass Brendan McManus - Keyboards and a Drum Machine - Hopefully to be replaced by a young, female drummer !! Our set is not very dissimilar to your own as we were heavily influenced by the 70's and 80's ! Anyway

Hi guys. I was just surfing the web and looking for the name "Midlife Crisis" which is the name of our New York based retro-rock/pop/disco band. Found you and thought I'd send a line along. We work semi-pro in bars in and around New York City. Four pieces: keyboards, bass, drums and guitar. All of us sing which makes it a very strong harmony group. I started this group with the keyboard player when my "wedding band" of 20 years gave up the ghost. Too many DJ's cutting into the market. So now we play long hours for little money and have a ball doing it. I guess you guys are in the same boat. Best of luck and keep rockin'.Al
